Central Michigan University is reporting that attendance was up roughly 20 percent this summer for the school’s annual “College Days” events.
The events are geared towards high school juniors and seniors, said admission communications manager Jason Kaufman.
“About 50 percent of students that visit campus for an event like this, maybe it’s college days or one of the other admissions events, will apply and be admitted. About 70 percent of them will attend.”
Kaufman said CMU’s College of Science and Technology was the most popular destination for this summer’s high school visitors.
