‘Tombstone Town’ reflects on St. Louis environmental cleanup

TombstoneFor nearly 20 years, Jane Keon has been on the front lines of a major environmental cleanup effort in mid-Michigan.

She’s from St. Louis, a town that gained national attention several times for all the wrong reasons: first an incident where a type of fire retardant entered the food supply, and later for an environmental mess left by a former chemical manufacturer.

Keon spoke with Mike Horace about her new memoir, “Tombstone Town,” detailing her time on the Pine River Superfund Citizen Task Force.

Keon’s memoir, ‘Tombstone Town,” is available in paperback and E-Book on Amazon.
