Saginaw Valley State University rolled out some new technology for the STEM community Wednesday.
SVSU is launching a mobile lab equipped with science equipment for K-12 students.
The lab’s first stop was at an elementary school in Bay County. Carolyn Wierda is the Director of STEM at SVSU.
“Well the lab is going to go wherever the need is. Certainly school districts will request the lab come to visit them, Community organizations, like a library, or maybe a boys and girls club.”
Wierda said the lab is the size of an RV and can hold two classrooms.
