Stone House Bike Tour for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease

The tour is 45 miles long. Its objective is to increase understanding of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.

Participants can choose whether their donations go to: nursing education at MidMichigan Medical Center, or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

Gary Dunbar is the Director of the Neuroscience Program at CMU. He says that events like the bike tour are beneficial.

“These are wonderful events and the money is used I think very very appropriately and really is a lifeline for finding an effective treatment for these people.”

The bike tour will run through Gratiot and Montcalm counties. It’s scheduled for July 16th.
