Operators of Chippewa County International airport have announced a temporary service interruption beginning next week. The move will allow for improvement work on the airport’s main runway.
Commercial flights operated by Delta Airlines will be unavailable from June 2nd until June 22nd.
Airport officials said the General Aviation terminal and facilities will remain open throughout the period.
