Are you looking for something educational and heart healthy this summer? Charlevoix Area Hospital may have an event for you.
The hospital is holding three events called ‘Walk with a Doc’, one in Boyne City and two in Charlevoix. The walks are meant to bring patients and doctors together for some exercise and education.
Chelsea Townsend is the Interim Communications Coordinator for Charlevoix Area Hospital, she said “with hospitals having to focus so much on preventative health and community benefit this is just one way that we saw to get the physicians actively involved with the communities.”
