The state would have to take measures meant to increase access to birth control under new proposals in the state Legislature.

MidMichigan Health is teaming up with businesses in Clare County to host “Bras for a Cause”. It’s an event raising money for women’s health care services.

DNR offers fishing and backpacking workshops for women

Locals and tourists alike are drawn to the natural beauty of northern Michigan and a Department of Natural Resources program is trying to introduce more women to the outdoors.
