CMU Professor discusses “William Shakespeare: His Life and Times”

ShakespeareCentral Michigan University professor Dr. Ari Berk is an award-winning author of numerous books for adults and children. He recently sat down with the Dr. Sue Ann Martin of “The Children’s Bookshelf” to discuss his popular book, “William Shakespeare: His Life and Times.”

In addition to being an author, Berk also studies folklore, literature, iconography, and comparative myth. He is a Professor of Folklore and Mythology at Central Michigan University, and also teaches courses in American Indian studies and medieval literature.

He has also written “Mistle Child,” “Death Watch,” “The Secret History of Mermaids,” and “How to Be a Viking.”
