Denise Gruben of the DNR said only written descriptions are available on the layout of camp sites, right now. The site tells if the area is sunny or shady, flat or elevated, etc.
“Obviously the pictures will be updated if any features in the park change,” Gruben said. “The site pictures are there to show people the relative features of the site. A picture can give them the spatial ID of where those features are relative to one another.”
Gruben said the only other state that she knows of having a similar reservation set-up is Washington.
