Robert Barclay is the Duke of Juke on “The Juke Joint” broadcast on CMU Public Radio.  He is responsible for choosing the wide variety of traditional and contemporary blues, zydeco, gospel and soul music on the program.

Personal Fact:  Robert was the staff photographer professionally for the university’s public relations office from 1980 until August 2013. He has been married to Peggy Brisbane, for over 30 years.  She is known for her photo documentation of the Wheatland Festival and WCMU’s “Our Front Porch” concerts since the early 1980s.  Robert began working for CMU Public Radio in 1981, co-hosting the folk music program “Homespun” with Tom Ball. “The Juke Joint” was opened in 1985.
