The DNR fishery division is hosting informal forums across the state to answer questions about Michigan’s fisheries.
DNR spokeswoman Elyse Walter, says the events give people quality time with DNR scientists.
“Coffee will be provided, I mean obviously thats a critical component. The idea is that let’s just have conversations about what’s going on in the area, and about how maybe your favorite outdoor activity is impacted by the work we do. To really allow the public to have those dialogues with our biologists is a really unique opportunity.”
There will be 8 coffee and conversation events held around the state, one for each DNR division.
