The Master in Entrepreneurial Transactions will include classes on raising capital, forming a new venture, and managing growth and risk.

Jeff Thomas is the chairperson of the entrepreneurship department at CMU.

“We’re going to leverage some of the faculty that we have here both tenure track and fixed term, but we’ve also been able to reach some national experts in some cases of people that want to help, and so we’re in that process now that it’s officially approved we’re going to go out and try to firm up some of those instructors.”

Thomas says students can enroll in classes this fall.
