Schuette must decide whether to take voting case to SCOTUS

The deadline is closing in to finalize Michigan’s election ballot. There’s still a legal battle playing out over whether straight-ticket voting will be allowed on Election Day.

The deadline to finalize ballots is a week away, and a federal appeals court refused a request by Attorney General Bill Schuette to review earlier decisions that blocked a Republican-adopted ban on straight ticket voting. Continue reading
