Since the election of Donald Trump, advocacy groups say there has been an increase in intimidation and aggression against minorities and women. 

Dr David Pilgrim is the founder and curator of the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia at Ferris State University.   It’s a collection of five-thousand racist artifacts, Some from years ago. Some from yesterday.   Dr Pilgrim says he’s processing Trump’s win. Continue reading

‘On The Map’ visits FSU students to learn about transitions in technology

Our latest “On The Map” series brings us around the state to learn about transitions involving people, animals, and technology.

It’s no secret that Pokemon Go has taken over the app market.

“I wish I would have bought Nintendo stock about a week and a half ago because it has gone up about 60 percent which I think I saw it as a 15 billion dollar increase in their stock in one week.”

New academic programs, hall and a tuition raise approved for Ferris State University

Ferris State University’s Board of Trustees has approved some major changes for the fall semester.

A new residence hall is slated to begin construction next month, two new academic programs will be added to the curriculum, and a two percent tuition increase was approved for next year. Continue reading
