One Mid Michigan food Cooperative is pushing for a change in state rules on the sale of farm foods. This, after they were forced to dump more than 200 gallons of milk and 12-hundred eggs.
Earlier this month a truck from “My Family Co-Op” was stopped in Arenac County, and inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The inspection resulted in dairy, meat, eggs and honey being seized under state agriculture regulations. Continue reading →
